MAKING TEA
Tea can be made in a few ways depending on the herb itself. Loose leaf tea is usually done this way
Step 1: Boil some water  (make sure water is boiling hot)
Step 2: Place herbs in enclosed tea strainer inside cup or resting in open strainer on top (more tea leaves for stronger tea)
Step 3: Pour hot water into cup and cover top of cup immediately
Step 4: Steep your tea for 5-10 minutes depending on desired strength
Step 5: Sweeten tea with sugar or honey

MAKING TEA (using roots and herbs with stems included)

Step 1: Place herbs/roots in pot, add water for amount of tea you want
Step 2: Bring water/herbs almost to a boil and immediately turn down to a low simmer
Step 3: Allow water with herbs to simmer for 5-10 minutes depending on strength desired
Step 4: Pour tea over strainer into cup
Step 5: Sweeten tea with sugar or honey

* amount of tea leaves or roots/stems? Start with a small teaspoon for one cup of water. If it is too weak add more. Too strong, less.
* loose leaf tea / roots / stems can be used a second time, although the tea will not be as strong. Top up with a little extra of your herbs to strengthen it.
